Does painting your headlights completely black, affect lighting?
light output should be the same since the actual reflector housing around the bulb itself isn't getting painted. so no worries.

Headlight paint
I use the heat gun method, I don't have an oven so that's why I used the heathen instead. I would only recommend a heathen if you actually know what you're doing. I f u c k e d up the bezel on one of my lights and quickly learned from it and did the second much better, just had to seal the first one w/more silicone adhesive.

i was thinking about doing this myself as well what adhesive silicone would you guys recommend to reseal these light and would i have to put back in the oven to get the adhesive to seal correctly or even better ?? and what type of paint did you use did you have to scuff them up or sand completely ??
