nice clean blacked out G !
i heard that the old black corvettes w/ the flip up lights had nothing for cops' lasers to reflect on so they could never pull over a vette. it looks like this is near laser-proof as well.

My bad for not responding earlier but for the tail lights, i just mixed some black paint with clear coat to apply onto my lights. I put enough black paint to smoke it but not too much to where it looks blacked out, and put plenty of clear coat to give it a nice and shiny finish. Personally im not a fan of overlays so that's why i did it the real way and had my stepdad do it properly, who does this type of stuff for a living. And as for your headlights, just look all over this forum and ask around or even make a thread asking if anyone knows a person that does it in sa, and if u absolutely cannot find someone, there are some diy threads about it. Good luck.

Car looks AWESOME!

Had a few question, if you don't mind:

1) How are the Hipermax III treating you? Can you compare them to other suspension mods you've had in the past?

2) What's the offset of your GT-S wheels? Tire size? I just picked up a set, 17/18 offset, 255/275 tires. I'm going to lower (not slam) on coils, I hope I don't have to roll the fenders.

Keep up the good work.

Thanks!

1) The Hipermax III has been everything i was hoping it would be. The ride quality is really great, which is very important to me, since my G is my daily driver. Before i put these coilovers on, i had the factory sports package suspension, and in comparison, the HKS feels much more strong and stable especially when i take turns hard and it doesn't actually feel any stiffer(it may be a little more bouncy on rough roads but not enough to bother me at all). No weird noises or anything.

2) I got the same offsets as you on my GTS, +17/18. And my tires are 245/275. So you should be definitely good on your front fenders as you can go pretty low and not rub, only if u slam(or get close to it) the front is where u rub. As for the rears, you will most likely need to roll your fenders, unless you lower your ride a very subtle amount. I thought i may be okay not rolling the rear fenders until i drove over dips, had to make u-turns, the rubbing was obvious, so i had Mach III roll my rears the next day.

Hahaha wow, we had no idea... was your G the OB coupe parked near me? We got robbed at kickball, as the other branches that played against us must have slipped some cash or promised a deposit into the refs accounts LOL, cause they made horrible calls.
