help!

Hey everyone, ive got a few questions.

i have an 05 coupe manual.

is the the redline of the engine 7000? because the rev limiter doesnt seem to kick in at all. im afraid to push it past the red.

and.. the previous owner of my g put ugly door protectors on that left glue.

whats recommended and safe to use to remove glue from side moldings and protectors?

thanks!!!

rev-up motors which you have redline is at 7k or 7.2k something like that. I've never taken that high, its not worth it.

The rev limiter will kick in between 7.5k and 8k (I think its 8k) but like LightsOut said, its completely useless to go that high. Around 7k, the throttle body will actually close about 20%

Yeah i dont take it there normally but i was curious about where the actual rev limiter kicks in. i shift at about 6.5, why is it that the rev up motor doesnt have the cool bumping that the previous engine has where it would bang redline?

Here's "Help!"

Do a search on DEBADGING that will give you multitudes of information about removing the side molding. Door protectors may have to be removed using a hair dryer but the above information will finish the job. There is no reason to push your G to redline, if you like your car keep in under 5K RPM's!
