I thought it would be neat to somehow get a little motor and actuator to move the Nav screen up and down by the touch of a button.

IIRC, i think that the "brackets" that slide the navi screen up and down are in a tight spot... they actually come down on either side of the radio (or climate controls?)... i remember reading it in a post somewhere, could be wrong though...

anybody wanna take apart their console and find out?

 

My AVIC-N1 moves up and down with the touch of a button :P
