Which one is better? Looking for something with a bit more power at about $400, but the one with less rasp and drone...Appreciate any comments/recommendations....

i heard the newer kinetix hfc is pretty good for a pretty low price. but if ur willing to pay for the berks, just drop a little more for the FI.

 

I have Berks and like them a lot. Kinetix doesn't have a hinge for extra support that the Berks have, but that doesn't seem to be much of a problem. They are both good choices, but I would go with FI or Berks over Kinetix.

 

They are comparable, but go with Berk. I wouldn't put anything from Kinetix on my car, they make trash that either breaks (rear camber arms) or doesn't work (SSV). I wouldn't want to support a company that puts out products like that.

 

Yea I'd say FI or Berks. I have the Berks and I'm very happy with them! But I didnt wanna pay the extra 200 bucks for the FI :P I had the 1st gen kinetix and they were ok, I wasnt disappointed with them, I just wanted to try somethin diff for sound.

But Fast Intentions are a good brand as well. I ended up choosing Berk at the time because they were just within my price range.

 

When I bought my Berk's 2 months ago I was told the FI and Berk's use the same MF cats but there is a $100-200 difference which is why I went with Berk. I have drone between 1600-2000 rpms, I am a 5AT and have a Borla cat back and before everyone says the drone is from the Borla I did not have the drone until I put the HFC's on.

 

Most of u guys seem to prefer the BERKS over the Kinetix....As far as FI, why do some of you guys pay an extra $125-150 to get it over BERKS? Does it really worth it?

 

BERK HFC's would be my choice if the state of CA. allowed them....BOOoooo!

I have Berks too.. Haven't had the others, but have heard the Kinetix and Crawfords and like mine better. The Crawfords that I heard also had the HFC exhaust on it and sounded GREAT..
