I have an 03 coupe and scratched the plastic/glass? over the odometer. It is driving me crazy especially at night. A friend gave me this fine sandpaper and said you may be able to buff it out. Not sure I want to test this on my G35. Any solutions I searched the board and couldnt find any.

If it's like a deep scratch then you will not get it off. If it's a small scratch and not deep yea you can. If it bugs you so much order a new lens from dealer it's like $30. Very easy to put on.

 

Cheenzine, if what you have are fine scratches they can easily be removed using Meguair's PLASTIC X available at most auto parts stores. Never use anything close to "Sandpaper" on plastic, he's NOT your friend and he's dumb,stupid and retarded!

Thanks Gary C I will give it a try, those new lenses don't look that easy to take out. I will take a look at that route if the plastic x doesnt work.

 

I've taken out my 2004 lense it only took like 1 min to take it out. And like 15 mins to take out the cluster.
