Pretty sure wal mart carries Optima...

Other than that I am sure pep-poys or any of those American stores you have carry Optima.

Btw, buy and optima.

I don't work for optima.

But that'd be cool if it did work for optima.

Wouldn't it?

About 15 pounds lighter. Depends on the battery.

I have heard odyssey(the company optima bought their technology from) has one that weighs like...16lbs. Average OEM battery weighs roughly 50lbs.

16lbs is crazzzzzy.

Ignore my silly numbers there. That 16lbs one is for bikes. But a lot of guys use it as their race battery. NOT as there DD battery. So I don't think it would hold up that well cranking every day.

Odyssey FTW. Enersys (maker of Odyssey, Hawker, and Stinger batteries) make a better product than Optima IMO...that's from direct experience. I can go into detail if need be, but just to give an idea, I needed their batteries for my audio setup, when I ran a 3000w amp (RF T30001bd) and when I was going to run 4 PDX 1.1000's and a PDX 4.150. I was using the PC 1200 which I also plan to buy for the G. I had two PC 2150's I was gonna add but ended up gettin rid of the car.

If you want a good battery and have some coin to spend, the Odyssey PC 1200 is a good choice. I'm getting one next week because my battery keeps dying. Weighs 38 lbs but you'll never have any problems firing up the car, even if you leave your lights on overnight, it will start up right away.
