Infiniti loaner program

What was your experience with getting a loaner for repairs or service? Did you have to make an appointment, if so how many days prior?Do they give you a loaner for maint. service or only for repairs? Has an one tried thee old" my car wont crank at times and has shut off a few times" so you can claim warranty issue and while its there tell them to do the service.

Re: Infiniti loaner program

I get loaners every once in a while. They're usually a white, silver or tan g35 sedan. I did get an I35 once, which I had for 2 weeks when my sat. radio was being installed.

Your dealer should have plenty, so just tell them that you need one when you make your service appointment.

They'll give em to you for any kind of service.

You always need to make an appointment. I have even had a loaner car for an entire day for only an oil change.

I have no problem getting a loaner when I take it in for service/warranty repairs. You just need an appointment so that they will the loaner available for you. Claiming that you have warranty issues just to get a loaner is unethical and they/karma will soon find out

Re: Infiniti loaner program

Since they had my car for 2 1/2 weeks, they really had no choice but to give me one. Getting the loaner was easy...getting the warranty work was a nightmare!

Re: Infiniti loaner program

I don't have to pay anything, but they always want you to make an appointment even if it's an oil change. Everytime I've gotton a loaner (3 times) the appointment is always set up for a few days later because they don't have one that day. My dealership claims they have twice as many as any midwest dealer, whatever, since I always have to wait 3-5 days to get an appointment. I just made one today and won't be in until Friday.

I always get a FREE loaner but I always have it pre-arranged. I have only had warranty work done and return the loaner at whatever time I want.

Hey Blitz,

I take it you go to Competion Infiniti? I heard their service is great! I regret not getting my car there. Anyway, do you know if you are entitled to a loaner if you didn't buy your car there? I doubt you can get one, but just seeing if you knew.

You guessed it! The service dept. is excellent and service writer Lauren isnt bad to look at. Give her a call and give it a shot, I think the loaner car program is an Infiniti thing so they may do it for everybody... I have been going for oil changes on Saturday mornings, I am usually in and out in less than 30 minutes.

Re: Infiniti loaner program

I've got a 2003 G35 Sedan right now. Not sure about the package, but I can say several things about it.

1. I got it for having an oil change, a tranny flush and a diffy flush at 7600 miles on my 2004.5 coupe.
2. The sedan is just as quick as my coupe (after it gets going).
3. The stereo is not as good as my BOSE. If the BOSE is bad, this stereo is worse.
4. The car hesitates when you give it gas. Maybe I should reset the ECU
5. It also has a "soft" brake pedal.

Oh yeah, it has 12,500 miles on it and it is not clean.

The above statements are only my take on the issue. If you disagree with anything I typed then you are 100% right!

Re: Infiniti loaner program

My local dealer gives me a loaner even if it is just in for service. Usually have to get an appointment. I did not buy the car there. They don't seem to care about that. And there has been no charge for gas or cleaning.

Re: Infiniti loaner program

i just had my 7500 mile service done yesteday.. at frontier infiniti, they'll give you a loaner for only major services, not minor ones like an oil change.. they do charge a $5 clean/gas fee.. it's stupid, but can't do anything about it..
