new member looking for some advice/tips

HI EVERYONE, i'm current looking to purchase a g35 right now and came upon this forum, and so far i gotta to say i'm wowed by all the knowledge and opinions in here. well to make a long story short i went to one dealer that was selling a 05 g35 with 40k miles that has a salvaged title for around 15k. i drove that car to my mechanic for about 5 hours. only to realize that the vanity mirror is broken, the cup holder spring in the back is broken, and the gauge for the driver seat temperture is broken. not only this but the entire hood, bumper, lights was replaced. and the I in the infiniti on the back of the car was missing. i wasnt on planning on buying this car anways, but i just wanted to get some feedback and opinions on infiniti g35s from some professionals here im thinking about just forking out 20k for a used infiniti that hasnt been salvaged.. Thanks!

Yeah, get a non-salvaged one. It will cost the same as getting a salvaged one up to par, and it will be easier to sell later on.

Be patient, there are definitley some better deals out there. I would stay away from anything that has been in a accident let alone salvaged! Im sure that car has many gremlins that you havent found. The classified section is a good resource also. If you are looking at 05's make sure you search the FAQ's and stickies on "Oil Consumption". Good Luck
