Re: Injen Rep- Address questions and concerns!

The issue at hand is the end result. Although you may feel that you were not treated right from the beginning and felt that you were being ignored, but everything takes time and has to follow a process.

We know that at the end of the day, our job is to make everyone happy. In this case, we couldn't make you happy. As we tried to address the problem, again it takes time and Steve had no patience to work with us. A manufacturing plant cannot shut down for one problem.

Injen Technology is here for the long haul and we know that it is becuase of enthusiasts such as you G35 owners. Any manufacturing company will have some sort of defect regardless of what they produce. The fact that we are made aware of the situation, will allow us to take it case by case. That is why all warranty issue need to be address to us personally and not posted. Posting it delays the reponse since we may not see it right away.

Steve, we tried to work with you, but you did not want to work with us. It seemed like we just couldn'tt satisfy you no matter what we did.

We will only continue to grow with great customers like you guys as we have in the past, but there is a process that needs to be followed. So I am thanking everyone for their patience, but we will work with you to take care of you concerns.

It actually took you guys about a month to even acknowledge that I had a problem all the while I never got any return calls. I seriously recommend that you make some serious design changes in the resonator, specifically the very small radius bend at the endcap of the resonator. And use higher quality fiberglass or just switch to 100% steel wool.

I just noticed that you are going to use randy's car for some test fitting but I remember paul saying that you guys just bought a new G35 specifically for this purpose.

I have a question because according to your dyno sheets for then Injen Cai theres a significant hp increase by like 10... and from what I've heard and know that isn't true. Can you explain to me everything about that?

Sure, when you read a dyno graph- You have to look at it through its entire powerband and not just by the numbers represented alone. The numbers may represent peak horsepower at certain rpms. Most of the power will be made at top end.

All recommendations are considered. We actually have a red G35c that is our shop car, we're using Randy's to cross reference the two and make any adjustment Randy will need.

Re: Injen Rep- Address questions and concerns!

Duy,

I haven't really had the time to contact you, but I hope this new run is better than the one you guys put on my car. It still blows FG all over the back end of my car and the drivers side tip is still turning black while the right side doesn't. I was going to wait until it started rasping again to mention it but I figured if you guys were checking back into this that I should tell you.

BTW, for those that don't think the INJEN exhaust adds power...I have a fully stock G except for cats, intake and exhaust and I put 265 to the wheels last week on a dyno. This exhaust is VERY functional...just needs some adjustments. =) Get back to me Duy.

2 G or not 2 G, there's no question!

Re: Injen Rep- Address questions and concerns!

As long as there is fiberglass in your resonators and mufflers it will always blow out. It is happening because the holes in the perforated pipes inside of the resonators and mufflers are too big and just blow the fiberglass through it. You can do what I did and just fill them with very thick SS wool which is a little harder to pass through the holes, or you can have injen weld in a new perforated pipe with smaller holes though this would still not fix everyone elses problem. For right now I only have the resonators packed becuase I didnt have enough wool but my car sounds great even though my mufflers are empty.

Re: Injen Rep- Address questions and concerns!

I'd stay away from a short ram unless you plan on heat shielding it...my intake air was 127 degree (35 degree above ambient) the day of the dyno and I think that will affect my ultimate output...remember, my hood was UP when i ran that dyno so the SR was able to suck air from the outside air and not just the engine compartment...good luck

2 G or not 2 G, there's no question!

Re: Injen Rep- Address questions and concerns!

Hey Duy,

I emailed Injen (at this email address: tech@injen.com) with a question about a month ago -- but never got a reply.
So hopefully you can answer me here...

How much does the SES 1992C weigh?

Thanks in advance!
