That G in the picture kinda does look like the 911 Turbo from the early part of this decade, at least the bumper does.

How do you think that G's front end looks anything like that??? I can barely see a slight similarity in the shapes from pics, but it's still far off...

At a glance from the side the Zs look simular to some year Porches, but not the G35s or 7s! This is just another reason to leave the Mt. Fuji emblem on your trunk lid, I don't wish to be mistaken for anything other than a G35....

I've had the porsche comment before.. No BS.. Also when I first drove the G I thought it sort of looked like a porsche too because of how there is that weird buldge thing where the hood and fenders meet on the sides.

As for the comment.. I was backing into a spot, walked into a restaurant to meet some friends and I said something like "dam, these gas prices are insane" when gas was about $4.50 for premium.. This girl over heard me and said " what are you complaining about? you drive a porsche, you're rich..."

.. there is definitely a resemblance. Car enthusiasts will never confuse one for the other, but I can see how someone not that into cars could do just that.

Weird that this thread just showed up

I was thinking this just yesterday while i was washing the front of my car...Thinking that some styling cues must be from porsche (the front end i mean)

Its the bulge and how it connects to the front headlights.
Dont think many other cars have that. Kind of a trademark for porsche

Hmm ok I kinda retract my previous statement. That pic a couple post up does look slightly similar. I see what you mean about that bulge.

The only thing the G and a Porsche have in a common is sexy lines. That's it.

Only if they were both girls, the G would be the bigger, thicker or chunkier one...

I'm confused by the porsche being the ugliest car on the road comment.... How can anyone possibly think the porsche carerra GT is ugly? Or the GT2 or GT3? I just don't understand. I love them and if you've ever driven one I'm going to have to say that you would change your opinion.
