Yes, I think its where I live too.. Its dusty as hell over here.. Literally within 10 minutes of a wash/detail I'd have to bust out the cali duster and sure enough I already had a good layer of dust on my car.

That reflection thing is true too. When clean, the black color shines and reflects so much you can't see the lines and it hides things very well. There is a full side body line that I didn't even realize was there until my friend bought an Caribbean Blue G and it showed in the light.

If you can see the lines on a black car better than any color then why do all ( not all but a huge majority 95% +) car companies use silver or a lighter colored car in advertisements? Because it shows all of the lines.

I love my black car... I just wipe it ever so often in the evening and it keeps it looking good between washes . *I do have a garage so I guess I cheat :P*
... well, after watching the video, I have to say, if I paid to have my car waxed with wax that costs $3,900 a pound and a simple car wash leaves those water marks and scratches - regardless of the wash method -, the wax gets washed out that easily, and gets so easily scratched on one wash, I'd get a lawyer. Either the show "enhanced" the damage to "prove" a point, or that wax job - or the wax - was ****, regardless of price.

Now, the video doesn't say it, but it maybe this very expensive wax is a "showroom" wax that doesn't harden, not an everyday driving condition wax... of course, that would be stupid of them..

whoa, whoa, whoa.... a thread about OB and I couldn't sniff it out???!?!!

I've had nothing but compliments on my Obsidian Black wonder, although I will agree that it is a pain to keep clean, but clean, it is without a doubt the best color for a G...

p.s. I also regret the 5AT... oh well

I do gas station car washes about 4-6 times a year. Only when I'm lazy or just need the care semi clean for my busy day.

I park my car in an alley on top of grass and rocks so dust is a big problem, mainly during summer. Been tryin to sell our house so we can buy a individual home with a garage and everything, but impossible in this market.
