Just got in the action with a down payment on a 6MT. Sales guy says I got in on the April allocation and of course gave me the cautious “it will be three months till it gets here”. Anyone have recent experience with order to delivery times? I’m in Colorado so it’s definitely got to travel from the coast.

i ordered mines in the beginning of february and they said i had to wait 6 months. i live in south jersey, so i don't know if it makes a big difference. all i know is that there are 2 dealerships around my area so maybe that's why... not sure. yesterday i received my order number though... now it's just the time to wait for my vin #... but from what i heard, the dealerships don't usually put your order in right away...

I got one the next day... I know they order at specific times of the month .. BUT 3 months later???

Pina was probably on a waiting list with people ahead that needed their orders filled

 

I'm in the April order and was told 3 months also. Seems pretty standard for a special order.

I'm on the east coast.

 

i am on a waiting list... plus they could only put in a certain number for each month... they also probably had my order number before but didn't have time to call me... i called my dealer and that's when they gave it to me...

Looks like we will have to compare notes east coast VS Colorado on the April orders. I appreciated all of the postings about how to work with the dealer to get allocation information and the order number information. Not sure how all of this will go, but I’m counting on having the car in mid June or early July!

You did get lucky if you got the one you wanted. I may kick myself for this but I did pass by a Red 6MT that I test drove in order to get the blue with prem package and aero. Seems like Denver has a good number of Auto’s coming in but not many 6MT’s. Hope I’m not disappointed by the wait!

Yea same here. I'm in Dallas, TX, and when I first went to test drive, they had several coupes, but not the setup I wanted. I ordered mine in the beginning of January, but the order didn't get placed until the end of January, and I have a C order which will hopefully be here by the end of April, but I won't be surprised if it's May. They had a Laser Red, a Car. Blue, and a Diamond Graphite. But I am waiting it out for my baby...black is the only color for a sports car!
