No Heat in The Car during Idle.
I looked all over other forums including this one and found nothing so i need some help.
PLAY x PLAY for 2005 G35 Coupe Auto 36K Miles
1.Bought the car Aug 2I
2.Drove the car Around no problems -- A/C Works Fine And No over Heating.
3. 2 weeks ago decide to use the heat in the car and notice that it blows cold air whiles idling. Heat works great whiles driving.
4. Did research and found out the most common problem can be air in the system.
5. One week ago i performed a coolant flush, removed the air release and did everything properly. Still the same problem.
6. Infiniti Dealership did a Coolant flush Yesterday. Still the same problem.
7. I am beginning to think that the heater core is clogged. I also hear a water noise every time i start up and drive.
Has any ever changed the heater core or performed a back flush on the heat core?
I need advice. Thanks.

Sounds like you may need a new thermostat, when they fail they fail open. as a result the coolant is always at full flow to the radiator so warming up the coolant enough to get some heat will be a problem and overheating won't be a problem. I would assume that they did check for this at the dealership.
If you had air bubble problems it would also be a overheating problem which will lead to much more problems.
Heater cores are very rarely replaced because of blockage, most are replaced because they leak caused by corrosion (Very old coolant).

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BLEED LINES OR DO FLUSHES!!!
This is the problem with the car, the radiator during cold times stays low and improperly pulls from the reserve. Let your car sit over night and then open the radiator and then fill up the radiator directly to the brim. DON'T FILL THE RESERVE. What happens is when you fill the radiator, then turn the engine on it creates suction that pushes the airpocket into the reserve and out of the lines. You may have to try it again the next morning inorder to make sure the radiator is full to the brim. But after that, you will never have a problem again!!!! I'm going 2 weeks str8 with not even a hint of cold air at idle, damn near cooking my *** at a red light lol
Good Luck to all!!!!
