Impul side skirts owners! reworked!!! need your opinions

it has come to my attention our mold for this side skirt as pretty much lived its life. and its time for a new mold to be made.

from the owners of these skirt is there anything you wanted changed on the skirt any little detail reworked? i am not trying to totaly redesign these skirts since i still want them to look like impuls.

but any lines changed or any extra reinforcment anywhere or make the skirts hang lower or higher?

let me know what you guys think, i will be redoing this skirt monday next week.

You should make greddy skirts but not have them dip as low..

talked to cal and couple other owners. we are going to raise it 1/3 inch so it flows with most bumpers. rite now it dips lower than the front of most bumpers

raise it just on the part where it dips down by the front and rear wheel wells?

My Opinion on Impul Sides....!

I really like/love my Impul sides, they're perfect as is....don't mess with what's right! Ok, one change that would make them better or possibly last longer without being damaged....polyurahthane rather than f/g. To me the extra cost would be worth it knowing they could be hit/bent/twisted and not damaged.

^^^poly sides are not really practical. they dont take nearly the amount of abuse fronts do. if youre cracking your sides skirts, then youre going over speed bumps incorrectly or too fast. or you shouldnt be going over them at all. LOL

My Impul sides are perfect and I only go in/out driveways/speed bumps at an angle. They're looking for ways to make them better and poly would be a better choice than f/g so you wouldn't have issues....my thoughts. When I bought mine had I been given a choice I would have chosen poly because I know what it can withstand!

the only poly sides out are ings+1 replicas (the authentics come in glass and hybrid aero). the replica poly ings fit horribly. i suspect the same if they made impuls in poly. you dont need any flex in them, so why risk fitment?

I imagine another reason skirts aren't in poly is because you're more likely to hit your exhaust or something else in the undercarriage before you hit your skirts?
