bluebat overlay installed... not perfectly satisfied...

Had Sun Tint in Austin installed my taillight overlays today... from far away, the overlays look pretty nice, but a closer up, two sides are not quite on the same level, one side has slightly more gap on the edge than the other... a few bubbles, but the guy said that they'll smoothed out after the moisture inside is completely dried up... ...

it was already too dark, and seems like it'll rain tomorrow, I'll post up some pics later...

Definitely a bad installer.

Bats overlays haven't changed and everyone else has been totally fine doing them.

yea, installers normally wouldnt do it if it was supposed to rain the next day.... they need to be kept dry for a day or two.

I know they should have not even touched them if they knew it was gonna rain common sense but in any case they just wanted their money and I assume they don't warranty work on overlays since its not their product but if they do, Have them do it over again and pay for the new set or see what you can work out. Depending on how big the bubbles get then you might have a problem if they are small then you can pop them with a needle but posting pics would help better asses this issue gl

so yeah, I popped a couple of bubbles and tried to press the film back onto the plastic, but don't think it's sticking very well anymore (do I need to apply heat gun again?), wrinkled it up a bit. And I am also seeing a bunch of very small bubbles on the film around the brake light.
Anyways, I am gonna leave them on for a week, if I still see bubbles then, I will tear them off...

After viewing those pics most def. its all the installers fault but like I said since I don't think they warranty their work I assume that you really can't do anything about it at least go back and see what you can do about store credit something lol ouch
