Nismo Compatibility for G35 2003+
Nismo Compatibility for G35 2003+
Hey so I was wondering if anybody knew the whole list of compatible Nismo parts for the G35. Alot of the Nismo parts are listed for 350Z 2003-2007, but I found that since G35s share the same chassis as the 350Z, the parts are compatible.
I've installed:
NISMO S-Tuned Suspension
NISMO Pads and Rotors
I was wondering about:
NISMO S-Tuned Cat-back Exhaust System
NISMO Cold-Air Intake (R-tuned, S-tuned?) (Is this street legal? I keep hearing two different responses)

Nismo....it's all good!
Legal, what does that word mean? What's legal in one state probably won't be in my state, not unusual. Nismo makes an intake and exhaust for our G35's neither of which should void your warranty if that's what you're concerned about. As long as your doing the Nismo thing check out their differential cover/cooler. It's not easy to install but it looks sooo cool....

Thanks I'll def check out the differential cover /cooler. I meant if I could pass emissions and state regulations, cause most aftermarket products for non-track purposes are all 50-states legal.
eveything should fit with little to no modifcations. springs will lower the G coupe about a 1/2" more and a sedan 1" more than advertised for 350zapplications. exhaust will need an extension.
CAI can definitely fit. I have that on my car. The exhaust, you would need an extension for it to work. I forget which site carries it, but I think its like $50 or $100 bucks if anything. How are the pads and rotors working out for you?
I'm pretty sure the Nismo sway bars, Nismo wheels, headers, and cams can go over the G35 as well. I'll double check at my work if anything if that would help.

Im having the hardest time finding a nice G35 around Denver. I think i'm going to get a 350z and sell it when I find a G35 that I like and can afford. I'm going to want to mod the z. First things first. The front bumper on the one i'm looking at it all scratched. Do the bumpers match up between the z and the g?

Wow, I fail at responding promptly lol.
The Nismo pads and rotors work great.
Better stopping power than factory pads/rotors, but obviously if you plan to upgrade with forced induction than your gonna need bigger brake kits.

hey with the 350z s-tune suspension were you out of spec on your alignment? I just picked up a set as well and am wondering if I will need cambers. Have been looking around but i couldnt get a definite answer as to whether or not I would be in spec.
