G35 is a re-badged Skyline anyway, so go for it!!! 
If anybody has ever worked on their G35, then they will notice that the Nissan badges out number the Infiniti badges.

So true. lol, yea imma debadge it tomorrow. And Mercinator was right, the urge kinda already passed. I guess I never really thought about it, I would be like the people I detest, that buy a Chrysler 300 with a bentley grill, and have the bentley emblem on the front with the 300 emblem on the side. Disgusting. Sorry for the waste of post, got some laughs out of it though (vipers & SUPER20G)!

yea. if i had the ability to get one, i probably would, but since they are so rare and i spent the money to get my G, i probably won't even worry about it.

Our USDM G35 is a 'NISSAN V35'. Look at your vin plate under your hood AKA a Skyline 350GT (google it!) 
Yeah I'm all warm and fuzzy I paid way more b/c it's an Infiniti (so-called luxury car in North America). I've been ripped off is the way I look at it. It costs no more to bang out LHD's than RHD's on the production line in Japan and to use Infiniti labeling instead of Nissan. They found a cash cow and we've paid them well being an Infiniti.
Infiniti M35 = Nissan Fuga....goggle that one as well.
I sport my oem Nissan V35 components proudly. Each to their own.....

Ditto on the chassis code. A V35 is a V35 no matter what it's called.
Same car different market.
Think of the G as a fob chick who just came all the way from Japan. Her original JDM name was Skyline but she adopted an Americanized name when she got here, G35.
Both are still her names and she's still hot nevertheless

Check your suspension parts, what is branded on them??
There are plenty of parts that "don't match" already....
Because your G35 is a rebadged Skyline.
