ok so i bought my g used and it had some imperfections some of which i still haven't had the time/ money to fix but this things been bugging me its only on the driver side and its ugly and i have NO idea what the original owner had done to it... heres pics and i don't know what that piece is called but i was wondering if there is a place where i could get a new one, or a different color one i was thinking flat black heres the pics tho

 

Hah, mine looks like that, too (I bought it used as well).

As for fixing it, some people wrap it with CF overlays. I think OEM replacements are steep.

 

you can find it on ebay for 25 bucks for an OEM one. just type in "G35 door" add "grip" or "pull" if you want. i'm not a big fan of overlays so this would be the way i'd go.

And you're right, $25 isn't bad. But I can't get myself to spend $50 for those when they're probably gonna get messed up again by friends...
