FUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGG!!

Said it twice last night.

I'm on my way home from work going up the 405.
I see an SUBARU pass me by. I change lanes and follow to see it's an STI. I pass him and he immediately changes into my lane and has his nose on my rear. I drop to 5th and go up from 50 to 80. (heavy traffic) I let off and he catches up quickly and passes me. He passes by and i play catch up with him. I'm right behind him and have him trapped behind a slow car. I'm right on his tail. Suddenly, the car right next to him changes lanes, he pops in and zooms off. Then some dip$hit in a 87 civic pops right in where i was about to go in. I give him the meanest look as I finally pass him by. First FUGGG!!

About 10 min later, I come up to an 04 TL. A$$munch sees me and starts punching it. I easily take him on and am about to pass him when a white F-150 truck cuts across 3 lanes of highway in front of him, decides he likes the lane I'm in, and slams the brakes in front of me. I'm thinking "WTF? this has gotta be rigged..." Verbally, another FUGGGG let out.

Why people gotta hate on Gs? or is it just me?
I'm BONE stock by the way. Only mods are cosmetic. (see sig)

Maybe if you stop racing these fools you will actually lower your blood pressure, especially in traffic. People pulls up next to me a rev their engine at times, sometimes they tailgates me and flash their blinkers..... just ignore those fools. What do you got to prove anyways? It's not highschool anymore.

Nothing to prove. Trust me bro, i'm not one to endanger other people's lives by driving like a maniac. I might speed up but geez, if you harp on a guy for speeding up, might as well shoot me now.

Also, i saw some other guy in a G coupe on my way up today. Fool wouldn't even say sup. What gives. Unlike some of the other people i've seen in Gs.

STI and M3s are comparable machines, i highly doubt they STI owners are jealous of Gs...

Gs are nice..
alot of drivers love to tailgate others..or..trying to act tough by reving their engines..I mean...jus smoke the 2004 TL and he'd stfu lol....

The above two cars are not even in the same class as each other...one's a Subaru and the other a BMW. Why would you even say this. M3s are not comparable to either a G or an STI...

STIs are still jealous anyway. Our Gs look sooooo much better than the Suby!

STI and M3 comparable? Don't think so. STI is Subaru's version of a civic on steriods. The M3? Hell different class altogether.

 

Why would you think those people were hating on G's? Maybe they were just hating on racers in general. The F-150 driver was probably one of those vigilante-types that figured he'd save the world and put a stop to your race. He was probably tired of seeing [twangy voice]'dem lil sporty cars actin' like dey owns the whole damn road'.

Not condoning anyones actions in this incident but from what you described I'm just offering what could be an alternative possibility...

I was on my way home last saturday night, with my family in my G from my inlaws house watching an event much like you described. Two guys racing down the freeway in a camaro another in an F-150. The F-150 cuts across two lanes going much faster than the rest of the traffic cuts off a young girl in a celica. She swirves to avoid him, they didn't hit however she looses control spins and out on the freeway. This is happening right in front of me. She comes to a complete stop in the lane to my right facing oncoming traffic.
These people aren't hating the G ther hating on you. Playing graba$$ on the freeway in heavy traffic is just plain dumb. FUUUUUUUUGGGG... that's probably what that girl is saying.

sorry i meant they are comparable when it comes down to performance, the STI are capable of taking on an M3 on the road I believe. They should be able to take on the G as well, 300hp + lighter. If they are jealous why would they buy a STI from scratch? An STI cost almost the same as a G coupe.

Don't drive like an idiot in your G...it gives us ALL a bad name. If you wanna race someone, show up to one of our track events and get it out of your system.
