I dropped off my coupe for the first time at the dealer for some minor stuff (misaligned bumper, window timing off) n they gave me a 35sedan for 2 days- handling, steering n acceleration not as good but still i had mad FUNNN- i always turned off the VDC so i can tryn drift around every turn..this 1 time i was making a right turn, dropped it in 1st, floored it and slid the rear almost 90 degrees out n then let the gas off n i slid the other way n did a complete 180 and ended up perfectly behind the cars makin a left turn!! hahaha anyone else do some crazy stuff w/ the service loaner sedan???

You might want to be careful what you post. I made a topic about my unhappy service at Hyatt and they actually called me up today and said they read about it online!!!!

You never know which dealership is trolling which boards, and somehow if they can identify you, I don't think you'd like the suprise they'd have in store for you when you bring back their car.....

It's not just that - don't you think that by the time you've reached an age where you can honestly afford an Infiniti, you should have grown up a bit and no longer feel the need to rip the crap out of something just because you can? and to think I almost bought a loaner car...

 

I had a loaner for over a week. It was sweet cuz' I had just broke my wrist and was having trouble driving my 6MT. The automatic is very nice and I was surpised at the speed and performance. I admit I spanked it a couple of times and even got into a light to light with a 530i (no problem). I wasn't abusive though.mostly cuz I just like the car. I love my coupe but I almost bought sedan because they are both sweet. I think everyone is alittle more abusive to some degree when they have a rental or a loaner, but a 4 wheel drift and what not seems a little too much. Carma always reigns in the end I say. C ya. if you're worried about that, check the millege when you drop it off. If it's more than +2KMs, then when u get it back threaten them and phone infiniti canada (or USA) and bitch there. You don't have to put up with them "Testing" your car after servicing (unless it was something like tranny rebuild, heh)
