Not sure about the 3g, but my 3gs linked fine with my 07 coupe.

 

oh i c... 3g and 3gs are pretty much the same when i went to the apple store. maybe it could work though

 

Get the 3gs it is way faster especially if you gonna jailbreak. I didn't setup up the Bluetooth yet. But, I hooked up to my radio with Nissan iPod intergration kit

 

I have the iphone 3g (not 3gs) and an '06 and the bluetooth worked fine.

 

my iphone is jailbreak and unlocked.. but doesn't have cydia?? also unable to connect to bluetooth..

 

^ Try restoring your iPhone and jailbreaking again.

As for the OP, my old 3G worked just fine with the Bluetooth in my 07 coupe. As does my current 3GS.

Can't play music through our bluetooth though, unless you have an afermarket head unit.

 

100% it'll work! mines hacked and it still works, and as for not seeing cydia, you need to reload it and it should have asked you on the computer if you wanted it; you should have hit yes to cydia!

 

My phone is jailbroken as well. it connects to the bluetooth for use of the phone without any issues.

 

are u using blackrain rc3?? is there any other software??

if your phone is jailbroken you almost def have cydia. if you used blackra1n to jailbreak you need to install cydia through the blackra1n app on your phone. if you have too many apps installed it just might not be showing up on your springboard. go one screen to the left of your home screen and search for cydia. if its installed it will show up in the search.

 

what is the pin number for our car bluetooth? my iphone kept asking for pin.. but i don't know it.. My old nokia didn't ask for PIN
