Everything is possible. The question is, Is it likely to find one with....? Most likely it will have a salvage title. Get a carfax, bring a mechanic, then get a pre purchase inspection, then another one after that. That will be the best $700 spent if each step passes. But like I said, it is mostly a salvage.

Your best chance is to find a 03 with worn seats (Why at 30k miles?I do not know), rock chips, dents and scratches, etc.

I believe it was week before last we had a member find an '04 with less than 20K miles on the clock. Finding one with that kind of mileage requires two things, persistence and tons of luck!

probably not one thats in great condition, but I'm sure you can find one. Possibly salvaged, or just mechanically damaged. Spend $1k - $2k more and get yourself one in good condition. Or if that is your price range, then try looking closer to 60k miles.

just remember, i learned this the hard way... PAY TO GET IT CHECKED BY A MECHANIC. AND DO NOT LET YOUR EMOTIONS GET INTO YOUR DECISIONS.

I'm sorry but what is with all the kids on here depending on there parents??? "My dad won't let me get something with more than 40k miles"??? How about YOU buy the car, you BUY the insurance and get whatever the hell you want! I noticed more and more parents buying there kids these expensive *** cars. I'm sure just like a lot of you on here, I worked a minimum wage job and saved and saved and bought my 1st vehicle on my OWN for $2500 dollars. I wouldn't have DREAMED of asking my parents to help me buy a car let alone a G35! Sorry for the rant.

Umm, does you Dad usually drive Detroit "Big 3" garbage? That seems the only plausible explanation for using 40k as a cutoff. Nissan/Infiniti Cars are highly reliable, my '99 Maxima had 70k miles without ever replacing ANYTHING other than "wear items". My '78 280Z had 140k, and again other than wear items, with only replacing the Alternator and Exhaust.

Would you rather have a well cared for car with 60k highway miles, or a Boy Racer car that was driven through potholes backroads and never maintained with 30k miles and abused with street racing. It's all relative my friend...

Get the latest year model with the lowest mileage you can afford... That's the ideal strategy; anything short of that is a compromise - unfortunately, that's life...

That said, understand that 6MT models are far more rare than AT cars; and, finding one that has not suffered abuse (or ill conceived mods that may diminish the otherwise outstanding reliability and longevity) will be a significant challenge.

But don't give up - they are out there... of course the cost may be beyond your budget parameters. However, in this economy those who are prepared to be patient may eventually be well rewarded - periodically a low mileage "garage queen" surfaces briefly on the market (and I do mean briefly!).

Thus, I recommend patience and constant vigilance... Best of Luck!

nah my parents driver new cars 'not bragging in any way",
lexus gx470
audi a4 avant

and when they got my brother a car they got him a new car, but i see no reason for me to get a new car, its my first car and i feel like i dont need to spend to much, rather spend 15 k on something nice and used, my mom insists on me getting new and my dad doesn't care, as long as it is less than 40k miles, seen a couple already qualifying under 15k dollars and under 40k miles, i have about $5500k coming up close to 7k in a a month or two, i worked hard for all that money, i had a "busineesss" if u you wanna call it that, find gopeds on craigslist for 20-80 ppl saying they dont work, buying them fixing them and selling them for 250-400, made a whole lot of money doing that, and i have 9 gopeds now im getting rid of, but these are my "nicer" ones. selling rest and keeping 2 or 3, i know i can get 7k total in a couple of months, and my parents will put half, i hate those kids that get brand new cars. 335i's etc... 45k cars brand new without doing anything to earn it. my brither got a 22k car without paying a dime out of his pocket and my parents bought it for him, and i still think that's not necessary.

Don't look for 06s in that price range....something will be wrong with it unless the person desperately needs cash or is stupid
