Plenum Spacer issues

I was thinking of getting a 5/16 motordyne ISO copper plenum spacer for my 03 6mt G and I heard people talking about blow by gas vapor and oil collects in the manifold. Is this a common problem, are certain cars susceptible to it or is it a luck of the draw type problem where maybe it happens to your car and maybe it wont.

Is an Oil catch can essential or do most people not need one. The only performance mods I'll have on the car are the spacer and a JWT popcharger and Ztube.

You don't really need a catch can and even without the spacer your car already has this. Once you open up your plenum you'll see how dirty it is.

Installing the spacer has zero to do with the MotorDyne spacer. When I was installing mine I notice a very small amount of oil vapor inside my plenum and cleaned it....naturally. Installing the spacer is the best mod for the $ and corrects a Nissan design flaw. You can install a catch can if you like, I did. Try SEARCH under catch cans and then try install vid....easy!

I guess I am just wondering does adding in the spacer increase the amount of oil that will occur in the manifold, if oil gets in with the stock spacer and that doesnt change due to the aftermarket spacer I dont care only if the amount increases due to the spacer
