Great dealer in Ohio

Great dealer in Ohio
I am new this forum. I have to say this forum is somewhat addicting and am enjoying all the comments. I am from Miami and had placed a deposi wiht a local dealer for a coupe in Jan. Anyway, the car they had on order for me was a black/willow with everything but the nav. My car was supposed to be here this month sometime. But I decided I wanted a Nav. My local dealer said its not going to happen and would have to wait many more months as there are very few nav cars with the performance package. So, I (like everyone else) did many searches on infiniti.com dealers inventory. Anyway, I spotted one black/black with nav, sport, prem, aero in Dayton Ohio.. I called, and it seemed that this was a promised vehicle but apparantly the deal did not go through, I was a little 'ansty' about having the car shipped from Ohio to Miami. It would have taken 13 unbearable days. And what if it came with some 'dings' etc? Well, the salesperson really was nice and very supportive. So, I just ordered it and flew up to Dayton and drive it home. They picked me up from the airport and had the car nice and shiny. They gave it an extra head to toe check out knowing I was going to drive it 1200 miles to Miami. The car was perfect and I had an absolutely wonderful time driving through the Tenn, Ken, NC, SC, GA and Florida. It was me and this beautriful G35c. The Nav worked awesome. The dealer even had the nav programed with my home address. Interestingly, I did not see one G35c in 2 days of driving. I though, had plenty of looks. By the way, for any of you looking to get a radar detector, I had the new wireless Escort sole/2. It was worthless and returned it upon my arrival home. So, I have 2 recommedations. Buy a car far away from home. Do not ship it. Drive it home. It's just so much fun. Secondly, call Teresa at Infinity of Dayton. They gave me a discount that covered part of the prosective shipping charges. Gave me free of charge wheel locks. I think they even have a few vehicles available. Its a small city and I don't think they have the demand as larger metro areas. And lastly, I bought this car. I usually lease. But I thought I would keep this car for a long time (unless they come out with a convertibe). I am confident it will hold its value. But anyway, if you are looking for a great car buying experience, call Teresa at Infiniti of Dayton.

Re: Great dealer in Ohio
Great story bro and welcome to our forum. I've done that drive many times from here in Ontario to Orlando, St. Pete's, Tarpon Springs, Naples, and it is a great drive. Never with my G yet, but perhaps this coming winter.
The concensus around here on a detector is to get the Valentine 1- thought you'd like to know.
Enjoy your new ride and post some pics so we can all share.

Re: Great dealer in Ohio
I alos bought my G35C from Infiniti of Dayton after my local Cincinnati dealer could not get me into a car before May/June/July.
I had passed on a coupe earlier and while I debated my move they sold the car I had looked at but when i called them back they actively searched for a match for what I wanted. Within a day they came up with the perfect car. Black G35C with aero and graphite interior.
My saleman was Tony Pinto who was courteous and professional. They threw in free rubberized car/trunk mats a Infiniti hat a cool laser pointer and lots of other little perks and knick knacks and they knocked off 500 bucks from the MSRP because the car had to be driven from a Illinois dealership and had a few hundred miles on it when I picked it up.
The car was in immaculate shape and very soon I will be returning for my first scheduled maintenance.
They also offer free membership in their "Reserve" facility which is a spaceous clubhouse style building where you can detail your car inside and hangout and shoot pool or watch cable on their plasma TV. The whole building is available for customer use for FREE and you can even reserve it for parties or business meetins etc... A great perk of which I am going to use.
The whole sales experience with them gets my thumbs up.
Highly recommend dealing with them!

wow, sounds like some great customer service and cool dealerships. i bought mine through the dublin. i can say that their so-call best salesperson was a dope, basically i got better service spending $4 at subway than i did spending $40k at the dealer. but i do have to mention, that i found that the new sales manager was a breath of fresh air when it comes to shopping for a car. he cares and listens. Bill goodrich if anyone is shopping there. you can tell him jeremy clark refered you to him directly. i wouldnt deal with the sales poeple. the finance people were excellent as well. i will let you know how the service department is when i go in for my oil change next month. anyone else have a good or bad experience at dublin? i almost at the last moment went to dayton to buy, sounds like i should have...

I agree with everyone above. I'm in Dayton and tried to get my G from Teresa, but back in 2003 when I got it there was a several month wait and Dayton didn't have any. Dublin was supposed to have one for me and its a rather long story, but they didn't come through with it and the service I got from them was horrible in the process. I ended up at Dryer and Reinbold in Indianapolis, where the service was great. Unfortunately, since they figured they'd never see me again for service they didn't discount anything. Teresa in Dayton is wonderful though and I wish I could have bought my car from her.

Great Story
Sounds like a good story. I had many familiar things happen in the reverse. I live in Ohio and found the best dealer to work with at the time in Florida. The Dealer in (Clearwater) Florida actually traded for my car and had it shipped from a dealer in North Carolina. The car showed up at my door in PERFECT condition and I never had to wait four months to order it. The ONLY one horrible part of the whole buying experience was when I contacted Infiniti of Dublin,Ohio to express interest in buying a G35 coupe. The salesman in charge of sales at the time was a real moron. I try to treat everyone as a member of my family, however he was one of the rudest people I have ever come across. Glad to hear that they replaced him (maybe) because of my letters and calls to Infiniti. They will only grow w/o him because the dealership seemed very nice and well located. His attitude made me go far away to look for a car that I could have gotten there. I now wish I would have checked Dayton. I thought I had them all covered, but I missed them. Thanks for the story!!!
