Thumbs down The automated 'get into back seat' feature..

..it's much more a hassle than luxury. What was infiniti thinking? I always have to teach someone new how to use it. And even after I teach them, they forget. People just want to get in and get out, not watch a seat move slower than a slug. The least infiniti could have done was make it move faster.

I agree, they didn't design it very well at all.

i use the "my car is lowered and it will scrape if i have someone in the back" excuse. i hate waiting for the seat to move forward just to get people in and out of the back

it's the same way for the mercedes folks back in 2000, i had a clk430 - my favorite car but ****ty reliability - anyway the seats were slow moving too and took all day to get in and out of

Yeah, that's the problem.
You just want to jump in, not stand there with your thumb up your ring waiting for the seat to move.

When I has my 2005 VW GTI, the entire seat would lift up and move forward and there was a HUGE amount of space to get in back. Infiniti really screwed up with the slug system.

Haha, thumb up your ring, I like that, new phrase.

But yeah the system is way too damn slow. Cool at first, then it's like ok damn it. Luckily I don't lug people around in my car often.

this is so true. i hate putting people in the back unless its my girls. for some reason they are always impressed when they see the seat move by its self. cha ching!

im in the same boat as where i always have to show someone new how to operate it. gets lame...

I have the memory setting hooked up to my unlock button on the fob, or just hit 1 button.

Maybe your year doesn't have it? I dunno. All I know is that I have it, and its on the side of the seat facing the door.
