Blacked out headlights

Finally bit the bullet and blacked out my headlights - wasn't too bad at all - just followed G35 Papa's DIY (thanks!!) and it went smoothly... and the best part of it all is everything still works!


Here are some pics for the interim - will hopefully do a proper photoshoot in January once i get my K2 Remix bumper and Impul sideskirts from Arch Industries...

I blacked out mine, too -- and it really does change the whole look of the front end.

Eyelids, or whatever you got going on there, on any car look so cheap to me, none of them look like they even belong or flow, like theyre an afterthought.

Shoulda kept the outer rings silver like this...

They are eyelids and i like them - they are staying on. Also, I had seen that style however not a fan of it on black personally that is why i did them all black...

Rush -- took me about 2 days allowing drying time and what not

Thanks - for sure - once you get over the hurdle of actually putting the lights in the oven, it's not bad at all!!

looks good. i really didnt know how black on black would look but it turn out nice. good work.
