My Coupe lost an ear! (Or so it looks!) :_( The plastic angle piece that holds the driver's side rear view mirror broke. It decide to fight a garage door, and lost. Does anyone know if I have to replace the whole mirror housing, mirror and motor along with the plastic piece, or can I just get the plastic piece? Here's some pictures showing the damage. . .

OMG! The garage door must have used hacks!!!!!! Oh man! I want to cry just looking at those pictures. But I'm sure you did all the crying already so...I'll just sit here and feel sorry for you. You poor poor guy. Hope you get it fixed! Good luck!

 

It looks like I'm gonna be spending tomorrow cruising SoCal looking for a new mirror housing. . .I called around a bit, and no Infi dealers seem to have them stocked. Figures! I'll keep trying. The even worse news is that the "piece" includes the mirror and housing which = more money. One dealer quoted me $240. :-P That's some expensive plastic. . .
Now the next dilema: order it for $150 (+shipping costs) and wait a week driving illegaly without that mirror, or try to find one locally?

Hopefully I'll still make it to HB. . .

I thought.... if you have a rear view mirror you only need to have one side view mirror.
