My 60K Checkup...What do I need done?
Am just curious what you all think is the most important service needed at my 60K checkup? Will the dealership recommend services that I don't need? Thanks for your thoughts!!
60K Service....?
It should be very close to the 30K mile visit and keep in mind you don't NEED to have INFINITI do the service. You can have Nissan service your G or a reliable independent shop. If you don't have a warranty you could start using synthetic fluids in trans/diff, guaranteed to make everything work better. At 60K I'd have ALL fluids flushed/replaced, replace all filters and drive belt. Check brakes and suspension for worn bushings etc.

Xenon Fluid
Engine Air Filter
Cabin Air Filter
also check belts and brakes.

^ same here.. cabin air filter isn't really necessary unless your car/AC smells funny. Mine was really clean when I changed it and was kind of unnecessary. What is xenon fluid for?
If you have a 6mt, then NOTHING. Provided you've changed the oil religiously. And yes, they will recommend services you do not need.
The less time they spend with your car, the better. You don't know how many 6mt Z's and G's have gone through dealerships for transmission fluid change and they end up putting differential fluid in the transmission. Don't let anyone touch it unless required

If you haven't replaced the brakes, I'd have your mechanic look into that too. I also had my mechanic seafoam it. Can't recall if anyone mentioned radiator fluid but yes, chane that too. Also, check your wipers.
