so i saw my same G today around in my area....kinda made me mad! same color, same rims, same everything....

So i need some ideas not too expensive to make my G different! a buddy told me to paint my rims....but im not sure what colors would look good on my Lakeshore slate coupe???Any ideas? or any other ideas of little add ons i could do to make my G look different and BETTER

 

You need to post pic of your G cause we don't know what it looks like. Is it OEM or have you added wheels and body kit....understand?

oh sorry forgot. its completely stock.

 

Drop, spacers (if you don't want to buy new rims), 06 projectors and tails, front lip, and remove the door moldings. This will still make you look stock, though.

 

get the rims done in gunmetal, gunmetal looks good on LS, then you can paint your grille the same color as the wheels with the chrome on the emblem painted the same blue as your car, get clear corners, smoke the tail lights not too dark, paint your mirror bases body color, debadge the trunk

 

^+1 on everything he said except... Don't paint the front emblem to match the car and probably don't tint the tails. Just my opinion.

 

^ or an emblemless gunmetal grille to match the gunmetal wheels

 

i'm sorry but you can't really be mad when you're stock and someone else's stock G35 looks like yours.

if i had your colour i'd paint my wheels gold.

 

paint paint paint thats all i did and now everyone is like hey you seen that purple G of course i have coilovers and volks and eghaust and other bolt ons but no one notice me untill i painted it........ you can cut cost by sanding the car your self I live in germany and it still cost me 2500 euros to paint but it was worth every penny

 

+1, how can you get mad if your driving a stock car and someone else has the same car?

get a body kit, tint your lights, clear corners, etc. the basic stuff

as our cars get cheaper their will be more kids and teens jumping on them (kinda a contradiction since I'm young myself )

there is nothing wrong with stock look - i love it when i see another stock G35 coupe just like mine - i give them a thumb's up
