ok guys so im a little new to modding gasoline cars i had a dodge ram with a cummins turbo diesel in it had a bunch of stuff done to it but never really had to worry about much it was a very easy motor to build compaired to this one at least so i have a few questions.
first what is this "rev-up'' and ''non rev-up'' stuff and how do i know what i have
second im lookin into an exhaust currently lookin into a bassani dual or borla dual kit cat back now i know thats all bolt on now if i wanna do test pipes with either kit is that gonna do anything with the O2 sensors that will cause a ''CEL'' come on if so is there some way to clear it

those are the only things that i wanted to know now but im sure i'll need some help with some other stuff come time..

wow, you got a 06 g35c MT and u dont know nothing about it?

first of all we tend to search on these forums but if you insist..

1.you have a REV UP 05-07 g35
you can tell because its a newer model g35
03-04's are NONREVUP
While all VQ35 motors have variable intake timing, the Rev-ups also have variable exhaust timing. The rev limit is a little higher on the Rev-up. The Rev-up also has a little more HP but less torque than the non-Rev-up motors.

2.exhaust that g35 drivers tend to get is the HKS and NISMO or INDIVIDIA

it shouldn't do anything to the sensor, or at least it didnt when i installed mine
