Alright so I installed the stillen high flow airbox... i resetted the ecu.. everything is nice and snug and bolted down.. when i start up my engine it stalls like once a day, this isn't normal lol.. anybody ever have this problem? i took it to stillen today.. they cleaned my maf 'casue they said it could've have gotten some oil or dirt on it, it hasn't stalled yet today.. my rpms are about 500, before the stillen airbox it was about 900 i believe?? help please

 

From what I've read, stay stock with the airbox. There's a thread I believe in the modifications forum?..dunno,

 

any other comments?? should i put back on my original box??? anybody haha??

When i just recently had my Z-tube installed, they hooked up some gizmo to something under my steering wheel. When i asked "hey bro, what the hell is that?" the guy told me it was being used to raise my idle to 650rpm because the engine idles too low and starts vibrating.

Maybe you need something like this done to yours?

yah!! that's what they did today at stillen.. and did that help your car??? do you have an 03??

 

I've got an 04. You should be fine man. ***** just forgot to set the idle a lil higher for ya. That's all.
