I'm looking to purchase new wheels for my coupe. I chrecked the manuel for correct wheel size. front and rear 18-8jj. The website discounttires.com asks for depth but 8jj is not an option. and it also asks for bolt circle which i dont know what that means. it give 2 options 5/114.3 and 5/4.5.
am i missing something. can some one explain what this stuff means.
Thanks in advance.

Before you decide to buy rims, you should look into getting a drop. A car with rims and no drop looks weird, IMO.
The manual is showing you what size your stock wheels are, these don't have to be the size and widths that you run. I am currently running 19x9.5 front and 19x10.5 rear, and there are many people on here with different set-ups. What's your price range?
Check out the Wheels and Tires Section. You'll find a lot of the answers you are looking for in there.

I'd recommend you check out the marketplace in the vendors and classifieds as the best deals will almost always be there. You can get wheels more flush than stock (meaning they won't be "tucked" into the fender and will stick out more) by lowering your offsets. The bolt pattern is 5X114.3. If it's in your budget, look at used forged and what not in the marketplace
1st mod on any vehicle should be a drop. Nobody likes wheel gap!
5x114.3 is the same as 5x4.5. 114.3 is mm and 4.5 is inches, divide by 25.4 to convert
Classifieds have many low priced treasures waiting to be bought from fellow enthusiasts, why pay full price?
As far as wheels, look for 19s or 20s. Like DRG35MIA said he's running 19x9.5 front and 19x10.5 rear. Stick close to those widths whether its in 19" or 20"
Common widths are 8.5-9.5 in the front, and 9.5-11 in the rear.
A 245-255 front and 275-285 rear would be a good tire width also unless you want to go skinnier and have the stretched look (

Ok. Research will be your friend.
The basics... Our bolt pattern for nissan/infiniti is 5/114.3 (or 5/114-same thing). 18x8jj means your wheel has a diameter of 18" and a true width of 8.5 inches. You do not have to get the same width or diameter rims but overall diameter including tires(rolling diameter) need to be as close to stock as possible.
Good brands are subjective but: Volks/Works/BBM are always at the top. There are some newer companys that offere great looking wheels like Kranson. They seem to be of high quality as well.
Be weary of knock offs since they do not invest much in R&D
