Horn Problem!

yesterday night I tried to honk at a taxi who were trying to get into my lane. I pressed the horn.. nothing happens! So maybe I didn't press it hard enough... little later tried again.. no sounds what so ever! Does Infiniti have a button or some sort of to turn off the horn on Steering wheel? (I doubt it) I am in such a shock, I have never heard anyone having problem with their horn on their steering wheel...

First issue with the horn (I've heard of). If you can't see if the wires are still hooked up to the horns, and there's no blown fuse, then you'd better take it in bro. you gotta be able to toot-toot .........

Re: Horn Problem!

I checked the fuses and horn isn't listed in the fuse box cover. From Freshalloy, I asked the same question and one owner said something about my car being showroom vehicle, the dealer might have disconnected. So I am guessing they probably used their little computers to disabled it. So I am going to take my car probably next week so they can reactive it.

The worst part is I can't HONK at these stupid drivers. Today At least 3 people tried to hit my car from REAR, Sides!
Sides weren't that bad but the rear. OMG! I just had to use our universal sign of peace. He just tried to rear end me or something. There are some stupid drivers in Colorado =( But seeing a white G35 coupe made my day though =D

Re: Horn Problem!

did you check the horns itself? They're right in the front, 2 little horns. See if the connections are there.

I looked at the steering wheel "housing" (don't know what is called) but anyhow. The black plastic clip on part between the steering wheel and the gauge was opened. I was guessing the dealer people probably opened it up and maybe disconnected it. I better check the horns in front also.
