Exclamation 2005 G35 Sports Rear Suspension Q....

Hey guys,

My friend has a 2005 G35 Coupe with sports package and ran into some rear suspension issues (didnt get all the details but a few parts are bent) requiring him to replace most of the REAR suspension parts.

He is getting used parts from a non-sport to meet his budget, so my question from him is that does the 05 Coupe with sports package have different suspension parts (i.e rear axle, sway bar, springs, shocks etc) as compared to the 05 non-sports rear suspension?? Or will the non-sports parts fit and function the same?

I ask this cause i know in the v36 sedans the sports and non-sports have different suspension parts like thicker sway bars stiffer springs etc. while i am not well rehearsed with coupe's differences and i would not want him to get some parts that wont fit!

Sorry if it has been discussed before but i could not find anything specific.

Thanks in advance!

OK searched some more and figured that the sports package does include a "sports tuned suspension" so i am guessing that means some parts will be different such as struts and sways. But i would appreciate if anyone could confirm the exact/any difeernces if they know for sure.
