Ok so I attempted to search for this but as I am not really sure what to call it, I was not very successful. Basically I was wondering if there are any nice looking replacements out there for the center gauges and analog clock above the radio unit. That middle screen that displays the compass, A/C data and the outside temperature.

I sort of accidently stumbled across a pic that a guy posted where he replaced it with 3 analog gauges that I assume are for his turbo setup, but I am looking for more of a nicer looking display for the same information.

Also, it seems like some people have very intensely backlit clocks where as mine is very dimly lit. Is there a fix for that thats worthwhile?

BTW my ride is an 04 G35 coupe...any insight would be very much appreciated

 

i just retrofitted an 05 clock in my 03. you can see the pic under my post of "goodbye metra, hello JDM". i changed out the LED's on the back of the 05 clock to white since i'm going for a half amber and white look.
