Subs arent hitting.... need help

I removed my subs and amp from my car for a while. When i put them back in i noticed that they dont sound like they used to. They sound hollow and barely put out any sound. What could be the problem? ground? maybe a loose wire? let me know. thanks

The main question is 'how'. ?

How many ohms do you have them wired?

Did you mess with the settings on the amp at all?

Did you wire everything correctly (is the polarity reversed on the subs?)

good luck.

Check your ground connection, as well as all the other connections. If you are using an LOC make sure they are hooked up to the correct speaker wires and that you didn't change polarity as stated. Make sure your remote wire has a good source and check the amp.

Good Luck

+1...check to see if (+) is connected to (+)
and (-) connected to (-), it sounds like your subs are cancelling each other out, chances are...one of the subs is wired wrong.
