Got the shift ****, now cannot get the clip off the VDC thing under the cup holders. It feels like a pinch clip but i can't get it to budge at all. HELP!

 

For the shift ***? Just pull down the silver trim/leather, pull clip, and then its loose.

Very weird that yours is stuck :O

 

I got it, the clip was what threw me off. I thought it was just the thing that held that silver trim piece in place.

The only thing troubling me now though is taking off the clip for the VDC thing underneath the cup holders. I'm trying to install the kill switch for the VDC to the orange wire, but I can't get the wires off the harness. The clip feels like just a pinch clip, but my fingers are killing me and it wont budge!

If its a pinch clip, try using a flat head for more leverage. I am sure someone will post soon about the VDC, thing as I only seen it once in my car and did not really look at it lol.

 

bump.. starting to drive me crazy... I can't get to the wire to work with it unless i take this clip off, and its not coming off at all. Here is a picture of the harness I am talking about.....
