G35 coupe passenger door escutcheon

The passenger door escutcheon of my g35 coupe fell out. I asked the dealer about it and he mentioned that it'll take around $100 to fix it. $40 for the part and $60 for the labor. I was wondering if someone here could tell me how to fix it my self.
Attached is a pic of how it looks like now.

Woah.. I'd just do a search for "escutcheon" on the forums. If it was just the cover, as far as i know, you just buy the piece and pop it on.

I'd wait for another reply, but if that's the case.. I'd tell the dealership to shove that labor fee. It would be a frickin' joke..

Other threads on the forum only talk about driver side escutcheon which is a little different from passenger side escutcheon since the driver side has a key hole. The dealer mentioned that a part of the door needs to be opened and its not a pop in thing but the dealer could be lying.

I am new to the forums myself, but I was looking around for information on the piece to delete the driver side keyhole (the escutcheon).

From what I can tell, this piece may not actually exist (for the driver side)... rather, it's just the passenger side piece used in the driver side. (hope that made sense).

I believe that's correct, but because I'm new, wait for someone else to chime in.

That's good!

It was seriously just a plastic tab anyways, I know they usually charge $30.00 for it, but any labor charge would be stupid.
