Almost done with my project.

Hello everyone I'm 18 years old and kind of new to forum. Two months ago I Bought this car from insurance auto auction 04 G35 6mt LSD 58K, it got every option except navi. IMO, If I was doing something like that then I would have got an aftermarket front bumper, hood, and grill. Nice job on the work that was needed to bring it to what it is right now.

nice work giving that G another life.

but yeah you should have used that opportunity to slap on an aftermarket kit instead of getting all OEM.

all good though. some people like the stock look.

yeah for similar pricing, i would have went the aftermarket route. especially since you basically bought a low priced salvaged vehicle.

That rebar looks huge btw, is that stock?

yea it's stock, all parts are oem.

Damn, I remember when I first read your post a while back asking the Driver if you should buy that auction car to fix it up. At that time I was thinking you'd be wasting your time and that it's not worth it, but **** was I wrong. Nice job dude. Keep us posted with your progress

no, I'm going with DG color, they will paint whole car except roof and trunk for $750(kind of alot).

from what i can see, you've done an excellent job... all the gaps between bodyparts look perfect

yes they look bad right now, but I'll get them buffed if buffing won't work then I'll buy new headlights.

750 is cheap. It cost 3k-5k for a total repaint usually, and thats done right, all creases etc for a oem look. Not sure if painting prices in different states I know on average youre looking at 400 for each bumper and 200 for each rocker panel. Hopefully youre not getting maaco quality.
