Debadging a 2003?

- Are there holes behind the emblems or is it just glue?
- I only want to take the "G35" the "I N F I N I T I" and the emblem off the back
- What is best way to remove the emblems and the glue residue after??
- Is it gonna be hard becasue it is a cold day?

everything
Use a heatgun to heat up the adhesive.
Fishing line works well for removing the letters/logo
Goo Gone will remove the remaining adhesive

On the coupe, no holes, just adhesive.

^impossible

The g35 is on with glue and the "infiniti" and Mt, fuji are part of the doggy door. Which a piece of plastic clipped into the metal trunk. The "Infiniti" is actually also embedded.

then you use some rubbing compound followed by a good wax/polish and you'll be golden...

Like said, but getting the glue off was a major pita, with goo gone & wd40. i tried them both. Make sure you use a microfiber cloth so you wont scratch the paint, u will be rubbing for a while and dont use scotchbrite pads like one kid did, LMAO.

I took off the G35 on my trunk months ago, but can still see the fading on the paint. I've been wanting to take off the INFINITI as well, but afraid of the same issue.

If you new members would just do a SEARCH under debadging you'd find the answers to all your issues. First of all rubbing compound is too harsh for the clear coat and will leave fine scratches. Products like ScratchX will remove all shadows and not damage your paint. GooGone will remove all that glue but rather than rubbing hard you need to soak it several times and it will come off....really load it up with a rag.

I found that soaking it in Goo Gone and then heating the residue up with a hairdryer makes it come off quite a bit easier.

The request question is how do you put an emblem ON. Like if you wanted to replace the "INFINITI" logo with the "SKYLINE" one?
