Just changed my flywheel and clutch and now when I press on the gas I get like a high pitch hissing noise. I went with a lighter flywheel so I was expecting chatter but this is worse than chatter. The only other thing I did that day was spray my belts with belt greaser.

Anyway it's like a squeeling hiss sound which makes me think it's the flywheel because it's lighter. I don't want to go back to my stock flywheel because one it's already kinda used (60k on it).

 

wellllllllll, this question has been covered a few times with the stock clutch and flywheel.

i think we determined that its more the transmission itself and not the clutch or flywheel. if it sounds like its coming from right under the gearbox and it only happens when its colder outside then its normal, once you car warms up it will go away. happens to me at the right temperatures.
