New to G35: one technical question
So I finally got my 2003 Laser Red/black G35 coupe, fully loaded with NAV and Premium Pkg with the exception of the aero kit. I'm enjoying every single minute of it, especially coming from Lexus SCs that handle like boats.
My only concern is a clicking sound from the transmission when the car accelerates. When I'm idling I can't hear it, but once I get on the accelerator I hear a clicking sound; when the AT shifts gears, the sound disappears, then returns as it goes through second gear, disappears as it shifts to third, returns as it goes through third gear, etc.
I'm new to Nissan and I'm not sure if this is a common noise with their AT transmissions. The old AT unit in my Lexus operated a lot smoother. Is it normal? Do I need a transmission fluid flush or something? I would really appreciate it if someone would shed some light on this. Thanks!

The noise you are hearing is a common problem and could be fixed under warrenty, im not sure if they do the repair for out of warrenty vehicles but you might want to call infiniti. There is a service bulliten # ITB05-002b. to fix the issue

Well eventually one problem will lead to another. You have some play in your rear axle that needs to get cleaned up before it gets worse.
