Newbie question

Hey everyone!
Just got my G35 yesterday and I DID search to see if this question was previously asked and didn't see it. Please forgive if it's been asked before.
I'm interested in removing the "Infiniti" and "G35" and the Logo on the trunk deck.
My question;
Are the letters and numbers glued on, or are there holes that need to be filled in? I've seen quite a few G35's with everything removed which gave me the impression that maybe they are simply glued on from the factory.
My Z06's "GM" Chicklet was simply glued on and was easy to remove.

Thanks in advance and this is a great Forum!

Jim

Great idea to do a SEARCH but don't use anything other than fishing line, Googone/WD40 and ScratchX along with a final wax to protect the trunk lid. In previous threads some bozo's have posted some really, really bad advice. GooGone will remove the glue (load it up) or WD40 will work too. ScratchX is to remove any scratches or shadows....have fun and Good Luck!

By far the EASIEST way to debadge is to use some dental floss and just work it behind the letters to cut the double sided tape. Just basically work it back and forth behind each letter individually and it comes right off. No heat or anything needed.

Try to get as close to the paint as possible when working that floss down, the more of that foam sticky stuff you leave, the harder to get off.
