saw a s2k yesturday with yellow calipers, funny thing is he got yellow paint on his coils and tires.

There's nothing wrong with painted calipers if you have a BBK and 14" rotors. What does look bad is calipers painted some ungodly color with the OE setup. The focus should be on the wheels, by painting the calipers silver or black they'll disappear. It's also a good idea to remove rust from your rotors with sandpaper or steelwool and paint them black so the rust won't show. How many pic have we seen here on Driver of a nice set of wheels only to see that rust ring in the background....

I like it, going for that transparent look.

 

it's ur car. do whatever makes you happy. ur not goin to get any responses out of these guys to do anything out of the norm.

 

Silver - theres a thread under the wheels and tires section with pics of the OEM's painted with a kit they look good.

 

I also have IP and did mine black with red decals. Some may flip about red decals but cmon, there like 2" long.. But yea, you cant go wrong with black.

 

 

A totally non-functional "upgrade"....waste of time and/or money IMO

 

Don't forget to paint the rotors to.. so they will match. lol
