HAHA, we're less than 4 weeks from spring....that's almost summer. Maybe this accident was a sign, custom rear backside and one of those beautiful HKS cat-back systems....NICE!

Wow buddy I been off this forum for a min but sorry to hear that... my whole rear from right rear side to left including the trunk almost got taken out yesterday as i was backing out of a spot...f-in lady sped off without saying sorry not to mention she almost hit acouple of pedestrians...

Isn't it crazy how people drive thru parking lots, 40 MPH and not looking where they're going normally on the cell? Even being super careful and looking while you back out somebody will whip around the corner going the wrong direction, it's just nuts....

People in parkinglots are just rude regardless.. I was at a dollar store and someone dropped a HUGE bottle of wine behind my car (Sams was right next door) so I got in my car and was about to pull forward, so I didn't have to pull backwards over the glass.. Then someone WHIPPED into the space I was about to drive through (on her cell)..

I got out of my car calmly, and stood at the front of my car, trying to waive to get her attention, but she was focused on her conversation.. I FINALLY got her attention, and she looked at me like I was trying to cell her crack or something (maybe because I'm black.. Iono <shrugs>) I was trying to explain to her that I wanted to move forward, to leave but she was all smug faced and said "you just want my parkingspace" I'm like "LADY, I'M ON FOOT!!! I'm ALREADY PARKED!!! I just want to LEAVE.." (Mind you, she never got off the cell phone)

She finally got off the dang phone, and pulled out in a rage, nearly hitting a small child and a Lexus on the other column of cars that was about to reverse out of their spot..

I got back in my car, drove through her spot, and left.. Befuddled at all that had just occurred..

I said all that to say... "PEOPLE BE TRIPPIN' "

yah, parking lots suck, i have to park like 20 stalls away from everyone cause i want to stay door ding free.

parking far away sucks for 2 reasons

1. its cold as **** out there
2. your friends in your car get mad at you and you have to tell them you don't want to get a door ding, and they dont understand because there mommies and daddies bought them there cars.

I always just parking like a "jackass" as many people put it, meaning i park on a nice angle over the sold line, thats my double insurance against door dings. Your are all probbably saying i hate you, but i if you lived in winnipeg you understand, no respect from other drivers in parking lots. Also i park so far away that no one should really be parking beside me anyways.

 

^^^word up to that^^^ park hella far...but for some reason another car will park next to mine...fail....

 

 

Heck yeah.. w/out fail, someone will ALWAYS park next to you, not even 1 spot in between but RIGHT next to you..

I do the same thing.. I normally park far away.. The ONE time I didn't (the car was dirty, and it was COLD) this happened.. So I learned my lesson.

 

^ So true. A couple days ago, I went to Fry's to pick up a new monitor. It was crowded as usual, so I parked in the back leaving atleast a 6-parking spot distance all around me. I come out the store, and sure enough, there's a celica parked about 1 foot away from my car -__-. I don't get some people...
