Power Train warranty question
Hey all, have a little question.
My cars at 68,000 miles. Took it to the dealership today to fix the gas tank issue and 1-2 gear rough shifting and clicking. I was told that there is a 150.00 dollar labor charge to do a diagnosis to see if there is something wrong with my transmission. If there is nothing wrong, I lose the 150.00, if there is something wrong the warranty covers the diagnosis charge.
After reading about all the 1-2nd gear woes on here I sort of don't want to go in and pay 150.00 to be told, "your driving it wrong." I just thought the warranty would cover everything including the diagnosis. Shouldnt it?

He said the tech needs to drive it and inspect it. Normal labor charge is 150 an hour and it will most likely take an hour. I took it there last time to get the rear Axel clicking fixed along side a normal inspection of what needs to be done all for free at 65k miles. I asked why it was free before for the inspection and he said, it was a courtesy check up. Your only covered for free diagnostics until 60k miles.
Edit; oh I read your statement wrong. I should ask him that next time.
