So i did what I've been doing in the past 8 years since i got my license and i think it flashed on me after I fully stopped at the corner before entering I-880 south bound on red light.

I saw the yellow light, then i slowed down the car, then I was completely, yes, completely, stopped the car before the corner, on the pedestrian crossing when the light was still on yellow, and the camera flashed with no other cars are in the intersection. i'd think it was flashing on me right?

I did the same thing in anywhere else i went to and never had such a problem. can anyone give out any thoughts? possible camera malfunction?

Did you still turn? If you didn't, you should be good.

 

You must be at a full stop before moving into the pedestrian crossing. But IDK how it'd go since the light was still yellow. Some of those cameras are just wild. Wait to see if you even get a ticket for it at all before you start worrying.

 

traffic camera tickets are always reviewed by the police officer before they are issued.

Big % of them don't get issued cuz cameras snap all kinds of ****.

Start panicking when you get a ticket and not when you see a flash.

iv had this happen to me so many times its retarded, u don't have anything to worry about iv never gotten a ticket and even not stopping and making the turn it cant tell if u stopped or not by the picture and its not a video camera. u wont get a ticket in the mail 99% but if u do i bet u could bring it to court and have it dropped in less then 10 mins

 

i doubt you'll see a ticket but don't they get you all nervous! lol i hate those cameras!

 

yea no need to worry, you probably won't get a ticket. Even if you do you could take it to court and possibly get it dismissed (depending on where you live, and how good the traffic attorney is)

 

I ran a yellow light had no choice because another car was tailgating. The lights flashed and a few years later, I still haven't gotten a ticket.

I went by the intersection a few times and discovered that the cameras are now gone.

So maybe they tossed the ticket and removed the cameras after so many complaints or accidents at that intersection.

 

LOL well I was making a left turn on GREEN at a intersection in downtown Houston once, and yes. The camera snapped a shot at me. I was the only one in the intersection lol!

 

my buddy came racing to a redlight speeding, slammed on the brakes and almost stopped, but never completely, and the didn't really even reach his slowest stop until he was past the stop line. long story short, he got flashed, but got no ticket.

I wouldn't worry about it, its out of your hands now anyways.
