Hypertech Programmer is it worth it?

Anyone have experience using this plug in programmer?

Hypertech has a 30 day money back if you don't like the product you can return it for a refund.

Not many options but it took a half a second off my run time and I would say thats well worth it..

The Osiris tune from Uprev is a much better option.

agree.... dyno tuning is the only way to go with these engines.. they are so highly tuned from factory that you cant really squeeze safe power out with a one of those or an etune

Dont bother with it. Maybe you'll get 1-2 HP out of it but the car is pretty tuned OE. a majority of "off the shelf" tunes wont yield very good results. Dyno tuning will help you realize better power gains by tuning YOUR car based on how it responds with the mods installed already. if any.

I agree with you that the hypertech is pretty much worthless on a G35, but you're absolutely wrong on the etunes

Ive been running hypertech for 3 years and have had no issues....your right it is pretty worthless but it did knock off a half second off my run time 1/8 mile....that is dam good if you ask me....

Auto/man....I get my hfc tommorow and im taking to do the uprev tuning
