DPE vs volks, should i get these wheels

my buddy is willing to do a straight swap for my volks, since hes had them for about a year or so. the only thing that is stopping me is the bolt pattern, since they are 5x120. he also doesnt know the offsets, how can i measure the offsets? would it be worth the trouble in getting them redrilled or getting an adapter? theyre just hanging out in my room until i make my decision.

Too much trouble imo. I'd stay with the volks

They look like they need some TLC though.

im sure you can get adaptors to fit these wheels. however your volks flow well with your car, i know your probably bored. but i would not settle for any old rims. If you go down that path im sure you will be in this exact position 5 months from now.

so keep what you have til you fall in love with another set!

I'm not sure how much it is to redrill holes. If you were to get them and decided to sell them later I can see this hurting you in the end. Plus they look a little rough.

Tender loving care. Looks like they need a good cleaning and some polishing.

What's the size rims, width, and lip size?

the fronts are the same size as mine in lip size and width and im sure they have a better offset then mine.and the rear is 9.5 or 10, and lip is 3 inches,im trying to find someone with an adapter in socal so i can test fit, i found a guy that lives in west covina thats running an adapter on his z to fit bmw wheels, hopefully hell let me go over to test fit. i just want to test fit and see how they sit so i can know if its gonna be worth it

^ hmm take some pictures. But realy it might be worth the trouble. Better to save up for some proper rims that wont require so much work.
